North Little Rock Tourism has hired Pete Unwer as Events Specialist. In his role, Unwer coordinates events at Argenta Plaza, the outdoor event venue at 510 Main Street managed by North Little Rock Tourism, as well as assists with other projects as needed.
“We’re so excited to welcome a bright, promising person such as Pete to the North Little Rock Tourism team,” said Karen Trevino, President & CEO. “We look forward to continuing his education through hands-on experience in events and hospitality, and know that we will benefit from another fresh perspective in our efforts to support the tourism industry in North Little Rock.”
A 2024 graduate of Arkansas Tech University with a focus on Hospitality Administration, Unwer previously worked as Assistant Team Leader for White Water in Branson, Missouri. He is certified in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA), Guest Service Gold and Manager Food Safety. He served as president of Tourism Society as well as President of Hospitality Society at ATU and received an Outstanding Leadership and Professional Involvement award.
