North Little Rock Tourism has promoted Janis Alexander, formerly Vice President of Operations, to Chief Operating Officer (COO).
“Since joining us five years ago, Janis has been essential to the success of North Little Rock Tourism through her hard work and passion for the tourism industry,” said Karen Trevino, President & CEO. “The new title reflects the level of skill and experience she already exhibited as well as recognizes her potential as a leader in pushing North Little Rock Tourism to new heights.”
As COO, Alexander maintains the day-to-day operation and mission of North Little Rock Tourism as well as oversees the operations of Downtown Riverside RV Park and Argenta Plaza. A graduate of Arkansas State University at Beebe, Alexander has more than fifteen years of experience in the hospitality industry and ten years of accounting. She previously worked as a bookkeeper for Fletcher Property Management and revenue manager for the Embassy Suites Hotel in Little Rock. She joined North Little Rock Tourism as Administrative Specialist in 2019.
